A Message from Your Board!
Happy Summer, Melwood Oaks neighbors!
Your HOA Board has been hard at work making improvements throughout our community. We've already held three Board meetings this summer and approved several exciting projects, including:
🏊 New pool chairs
🌿 A new lawn maintenance company, TruScapes
📋 Updated HOA violation fines
IMPORTANT UPCOMING ITEMS/EVENTS:
🚗 Community Speed Table Survey – We Need Your Input!
At the upcoming HOA meeting, the Board will vote on whether to install speed tables in our community.

What Are Speed Tables?
Unlike traditional speed bumps, speed tables are:
Approximately 3–3½ inches high
10–22 feet long
Designed to slow vehicles to 15–20 mph
More comfortable for emergency vehicles, school buses, and service vehicles
According to the Federal Highway Administration, speed tables are among the most emergency-friendly traffic calming devices available.
🗳️PLEASE Complete the Survey on Speed Tables-- One survey response per household
Scan the QR code below using the camera on your mobile device or follow the link below
Choose YES or NO to share your opinion on the adding of speed tables
Survey closes August 16, 2026
